The Ultimate Father's Day Experience at Ball and Buck
by Winston at Ball and Buck on 06/12/13
Father’s day is approaching once again and the infamous question is starting to persistently ring in the back of your head. What should you get dad to show how awesomely cool he is? After all, he is responsible for shaping you into the fine young man that you are today. You want to express your genuine appreciation for the relationship, but the practical gift card has been played one too many times.
At Ball and Buck, we value an authentic American experience, embracing the finer things this country has to offer. With this said, we are pleased to offer the ultimate Father’s Day gift. Join us on June 16th for our annual festivities designed to celebrate the father-son bond of manhood the best way we know how: with cocktails, oysters, whiskey, bow ties, and beer. Seriously, we have collaborated with some of our favorite local partners to offer a gentleman's afternoon out including interactive, manly fun in its purest form.
In partnership with Four Roses Bourbon, Island Creek Oysters, Hudson Whiskey, and High & Mighty Beer Co, the following agenda will be offered between 12pm and 4pm, Sunday, June 16th.
Cocktails:
Learn how to make 3 bold, refreshing cocktails for summertime gatherings. You will shake, mix, and taste cocktails featuring rum, whiskey, and vodka.
Oysters:
Learn how to shuck an oyster with the men from Island Creek Oysters while enjoying the fruits of your labor, many times.
Whiskey:
Join a whiskey aficionado for a tasting journey through 4 small batch whiskeys from Hudson Whiskey.
Bow Ties:
It’s a life skill that you need to know. Clip-ons are a fashion nightmare so join the experts from Ball and Buck to learn how to tie a bow tie so well you will leave a lasting impression at your next party.
Beer:
Simply put, it isn’t a party without beer. We have partnered with the great guys of High & Mighty Beer Co. to keep it flowing throughout the event.
We are confident that this year’s event will be one for the books so please feel free to extend the invitation to family, friends, and dads. RSVP ahead so that we can schedule groups. The entire experience will take about an hour.
